Norwegian Brazilian jiu-jitsu standout Tommy Langaker is certain he can flip the script against Kade Ruotolo if they cross paths once more.
The 30-year-old ground game savant suffered a pair of losses to the ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion in the past two years under the ONE Championship banner.
His hopes of pulling one back against Ruotolo hit another block when they shared the mats at the 2024 Craig Jones Invitational in August last year.

While those defeats have been hard to absorb, the Wulfing Academy representative views it as an opportunity to adapt, learn, and evolve until the next chapter of their rivalry arrives.
Moreover, per the Haugesund native, Ruotolo's superhero-like abilities don't make him unbeatable.
In an interview with Nick Atkin, Tommy Langaker shared:
"I'm in no rush when it comes to Kade. He's busy doing his own things. I'm confident in my abilities to take Kade. He's human, he bleeds like us."

Tommy Langaker aims to return to winning ways at ONE Fight Night 27
Setbacks often provide athletes a perfect opportunity to excel, which is what Tommy Langaker ought to do when he returns at ONE Fight Night 27.
The Norwegian meets fellow BJJ black belt Dante Leon in a catchweight fixture set for the promotion's first U.S. primetime card of 2025 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Already owning a blueprint to beat the Canadian athlete, Langaker will bank on his experience and submission-hunting approach to pull a 2-0 lead over his rival to set his career back on the right path.
Before his losses to Ruotolo, he racked up back-to-back wins over Brazil's Renato Canuto and Russia's Uali Kurzhev under the ONE banner.
Meanwhile, Leon seeks to move 2-0 in the promotion after recording a submission win over Bruno Pucci in his promotional bow.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime for free.
