The 30-year-old athlete is coming off back-to-back setbacks at the hands of reigning undisputed divisional king Kade Ruotolo from their championship fights in June 2023 at ONE Fight Night 11 and January 2024 at ONE 165, where he sustained unanimous decision losses.
Prior to these defeats, Langaker won his first two outings under the world's largest martial arts organization with a unanimous decision win over Renato Canuto in August 2022 at ONE 160 and Uali Kurzhev in February 2023 in February 2023 at ONE Fight Night 7.
Tommy Langaker aims to make 2025 a better year than 2024 by taking things more seriously
In the same interview with Nick Atkin, the Wulfung Academy representative discussed his mindset for this calendar year and mentioned that he wants to make it a better year for his professional career.
Langaker told Atkin:
"But 2025 is probably gonna be a better year. I'm feeling more and more serious as time goes on. Like last year, its been a year of like kinda where do I want to go from here? Where does my career go? And I've come to some realization that now is the time where I have to push the pedal. Everything before was more like do it because you do it. And now, it's the time to step up and we'll see and take it from there."
