Tyson Fury claims he will defeat Oleksandr Usyk so dominantly that the Ukrainian won't ask for a trilogy bout
In their first showdown in May, Oleksandr Usyk secured a split decision victory in a back-and-forth boxing match to become the undisputed heavyweight champion while also handing Fury the first loss of his career. This time around, Fury is high on confidence to avenge the loss.
Speaking on TNT Sports, the former heavyweight champion issued a warning to ‘The Cat’ and claimed he would smash him in a way that Usyk wouldn’t ask for a trilogy bout. Fury said:
"My mission has never been undisputed. It's been other people's missions. My mission is to smash this f**ker's face right in on Saturday night. There's no chance he can beat me... I ain't got a cut this time that I'm nursing... I can do everything now. I've never been as confident in my life of smashing a f**ker's face in that I am of doing him on Saturday."
Fury added:
"Even at 36 [years old]. When people think he's f**ked, he will rise like a phoenix from the ashes... Watch me go to work on Saturday night on him. You watch it. I beat him last time, on a half mast... What I'm gonna do to him, he won't want a trilogy."
