A renowned MMA fighter recently reacted to Kevin Holland's witty antics during the falling sticks reaction challenge. Several other UFC 311 main card fighters also tried the test, but Holland's answer to the situation took the fighter aback.
The prominent fighter in the discussion here is the former Bellator featherweight champ and current PFL lightweight, A.J. McKee. The California native faced a split-decision loss against Paul Hughes at the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants - Ngannou vs. Ferreira in October 2024.
A recent Instagram video from ESPN MMA showcased the fighters taking a stick-falling reaction test. Most of them may have taken the test fairly, but Holland spread his t-shirt under the falling sticks to collect them, thereby eliminating the need to catch them while falling.

Kevin Holland doesn't want to go for half-measures during his UFC 311 encounter against Reineir De Ridder
A large part of Kevin Holland's popularity in the UFC community comes from his brash commentary on the mic and his exciting fighting style. 'The Trailblazer' wants to hold on to the same style for his UFC 311 encounter against Reinier De Ridder.
In a recent interview with the former UFC flyweight champ, Demetrious Johnson, Holland mentioned that he would go out guns blazing against De Ridder in their fight. He said:
"Same as any other fight. Go in there and bang it out. Coaches have a game plan. They always have, you know, ideas of what I should do. And they're usually right. It’s just a matter of [whether] I go out there and implement that sh*t or not, you know."
