Since his last fight in 2021, Conor McGregor has been making headlines outside of the octagon. In one such instance, he was seen playing a game of soccer displaying a specimen of his MMA skills which earned a two-word reaction from a top featherweight contender.
Playing for Black Forge FC, which represented his pub Black Forge Inn in Ireland, the former UFC double-champ was seen battling his opponents. He was stumbling and fighting with them with takedowns and body kicks.
After coming across a clip of McGregor's soccer match, the No. 7-ranked featherweight contender Arnold Allen reacted by writing:
"So good."

'The Notorious' has remained out of action from the octagon since suffering a horrible leg injury in a fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He was expected to headline UFC 303 along with Michael Chandler in 2024 but pulled out from the bout due to a toe injury.
Brendan Schaub shares his opinion on Conor McGregor's speculated boxing bout against Logan Paul
Brendan Schaub recently weighed in with his opinion on the speculated boxing exhibition showdown between Conor McGregor and Logan Paul. The former UFC double-champ sparked the rumors after hinting at a potential $250 million boxing match offer in India.
Expressing surprise over the amount being paid to an MMA fighter, Schaub said on his YouTube channel:
"It’s kind of like the Saudi money, how they’re paying Tyson and all these guys, like, $250 million is wild, $250 million is more than Tyson and Usyk combined. Just Conor will make more than Usyk and Fury combined and that’s boxing at the highest level. And they have a YouTuber and a guy who’s going under some allegations making more just one of them is making more than the greatest boxers on the planet.”
Schaub further added that even if McGregor could have been the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter, he isn't likely to bag such an amount for a contest.
"Even if he was the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world, there’s not a UFC fighter on this planet, in the history of that organization that can make $250 million in one night, It will never, ever happen. So even if none of this darkness was going on, let’s say he was 30-0, triple champ, quadruple champ, even if he was that, he still wouldn’t make $250 million.”
