Tristan Tate has taken to X to weigh in on the scandal surrounding Jordan Chiles being stripped of her Olympic bronze medal following a scoring fiasco at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Chiles' exploits in the floor exercise final were initially scored below what is needed to secure a medal.
However, her coach pointed out that her score had not been accurately entered, prompting a revision which led to Chiles winning a bronze medal. Unfortunately for her, Romanian gymnast authorities issues a counterpoint, revealing that Chiles' coach had appealed the decision outside of the allowed minute.
This led to Chiles being stripped of her bronze medal, which subsequently went to Romanian gynmast Ana Bӑrbosu. Naturally, the American was distraught, but the younger Tate brother felt that Bӑrbosu was deserving of her medal.
"You're a talented young lady but stealing medals from other talented young ladies isn't cool. Romania deserved their bronze. Chill out and best of luck in the future."

Tate is no stranger to athletics, as he himself is a former combat sports athlete, alongside his older brother Andrew Tate, with both men having competed as professional kickboxers. He achieved relative success, authoring a 43-9 record, even capturing two European Kickboxing Championships.
However, the Tate brothers' accomplishments in combat sports have been largely overshadowed by the myriad of controversies they've been embroiled in, namely a human trafficking and sexual assault case for which they've been formally charged. They're currently anticipating a long, arduous trial ahead.
Despite the heavy charges being lobbied against them, both brothers have maintained their innocence, claiming to be the victims of a media conspiracy.
Tristan Tate accused the 2024 Paris Olympics of trying to rob Ana Bӑrbosu of her bronze medal
While Tristan Tate was diplomatic to Jordan Chiles, he was not nearly as restrained when expressing his overall thoughts on the incident. He opined that Olympic authorities tried to deliberately cheat Ana Bӑrbosu of her bronze medal to manufacture an all-black winners podium.
"They cheated this poor Romanian girl out of her bronze medal so they could have an all black winners podium. Close-up video shows no foul was committed. This is racism and theft. One of my now 100 problems with this Olympic Games."
He further labeled the incident an example of racism and sporting theft. However, Chiles is unlikely to respond to his comments, as most mainstream athletes steer clear of interacting with both him and his older brother.
