"Truly a kind guy", "Should have put him on the barbecue" - Alexander Volkanovski letting a fan kiss his head sparks reaction

MMA fans voiced their opinions about a recent video that showed a fan kissing Alexander Volkanovski's bald head. 'The Great' took the entire affair pretty sportingly and left with a smile.

Volkanovski has been on a rough patch in his career since the beginning of 2023. He picked up his first UFC defeat at UFC 284 against the current lightweight king Islam Makhachev. The Australian returned to winning ways as he defended his UFC featherweight gold against Yair Rodriguez at UFC 290. But his form faded, and he picked up two more defeats in his last two fights at UFC 294 and UFC 298.

But being on a rough patch in his professional life didn't affect his attitude toward fans. The video in the tweet by @HappyPunch showcased just that.

Alexander Volkanovski provides an update about his next fight

Alexander Volkanovski's last encounter against Ilia Topuria at UFC 298 cost him his featherweight title. But 'The Great' is all set to make his comeback.

In a recent YouTube video on Submission Radio, Volkanovski detailed that he was trying to get a fight at UFC 312. He also said he would face the winner of the UFC 308 main event between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway if everything goes according to his plans.

"Fighting for the title, that is what is pretty much promised to me, and February looks like the perfect date for that. I'll be facing the winner out of Ilia [Topuria] and Max [Holloway]. Quite positively, I can guarantee that."
