Donald Trump and Joe Biden have locked horns in their first debate of the 2024 United States presidential race and Sean Strickland and the MMA community seem absolutely invested.
Strickland, an avid supporter of Trump took to Instagram yesterday, cheering on the 78-year-old during the highly anticipated affair. He wrote:
"Trump is crushing it tonight."

The former UFC champion's post invited tremendous fanfare, with many delving into the 'Tarzan's' comments section, noting their opinion on the matter:

While who among Trump and Biden fared better during the debate can be subjective, per a report by Aljazeera, Biden was often seen struggling to articulate his talking points. Meanwhile, Trump was consciously trying to divert the conversation to his opponent's supposed weak points, with accusations on immigration and economic policies.
According to a report by CNN, the second debate of the presidential election will be hosted by ABC News on Sept. 10. The election will take place on Nov. 5.
When Sean Strickland defended Donald Trump at UFC 302
After his win against Paulo Costa at UFC 302, Sean Strickland lamented Donald Trump being convicted of felony charges in the lead-up to the 2024 US elections.
Earlier in May, Trump became the first former US president ever to be convicted felon as he was found guilty by a New York Jury, of trying to influence the 2016 elections by illegal means.
Regardless of the ruling, Trump supporters view this as a politically motivated persecution to diminish his chances in the upcoming elections.
During his post-fight interview, 'Tarzan' defended the former president, who was in attendance at the event:
"Hey, President Trump, you are the man bro. It is a damn, travesty what they are doing to you. I'll be donating to you, man. Let's get it done."
