MacPherson hit the comments section and expressed his thanks to both Tawanchai and Superbon while touting their showdown as a sure-fire barnburner.
He wrote:
"What an honor to train with these two gentlemen warriors! As excited to watch them fight this Friday as I am to shoot our film here!"
In "The Beast in Me," MacPherson plays a former mixed martial arts fighter who returns to the ring to avenge his brother's death. The movie also stars Oscar winner Russell Crowe.
Tawanchai says losing is not an option in rematch with Superbon at ONE 170
ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai said he has no intention of losing to Superbon in their rematch at ONE 170 on Jan. 24. He has vowed to do everything in his power to remain the division's top dog.
He shared this in an interview with ONE Championship, highlighting that while Superbon will present a tough challenge, he will take it head-on and win.
Tawanchai said:
"I can't predict this fight because this is a fight between fighters of the same level, whose skills are on par. But I still don't want to lose. I absolutely can't lose."
At ONE 170, Tawanchai will be defending the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title for the fourth time.
