Kade Ruotolo has undoubtedly had his career and life shaped by growing up alongside his twin brother, Tye.
Both Kade and Tye are two of the best grapplers on the planet today and having one another to train with throughout their entire lives has certainly contributed to their success.
Whilst both brothers are known for a similar approach to submission grappling, there are some key differences between them.
Not least to mention the fact that Kade made his debut in MMA at ONE 167 where he submitted Blake Cooper in the first round.

The ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion stated in a recent interview with ONE Championship, that another key difference between them is their approach and outlook toward recovery.
Kade had no issue admitting that his brother is the one who pays more interest and attention to the recovery process, while he tends to do things first and ask questions later. He said:
"The first [difference] is the awareness of our bodies, and taking care of our bodies, and being aware of rehab and stuff like that. Tye loves it."
It's another stacked few months for Tye and Kade Ruotolo
In the coming weeks and months, both Tye and Kade Ruotolo will look to maintain their undefeated winning streaks under the ONE Championship banner.
First up in action will be Tye, who is scheduled to compete in a catchweight submission grappling contest against South Africa's Jozef Chen at ONE Fight Night 23 on July 5 inside Lumpinee Stadium.
Then, almost a month to the day after, Kade will return in a defense of his lightweight submission grappling world championship.
In one of the biggest submission grappling matches of all time, he will face the flyweight champion Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168 in the promotion's return to the United States on September 6.
These next few months promise to keep the Ruotolo brothers extremely busy, and this could all culminate with Kade getting his hand raised inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
Both ONE 168 and ONE Fight Night 23 are set to air live in U.S. prime time on September 6 and July 5, respectively.
