Tye Ruotolo shares a near-similar excitement for an upcoming striking contest as he has for his world title fight assignment at ONE Fight Night 16.
On Friday, November 3, in American primetime, the Atos representative faces Magomed Abdulkadirov for the inaugural ONE welterweight submission grappling world title inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Slightly a month after that, at ONE Fight Night 17 on December 8, Tawanchai PK Saenchai defends his ONE featherweight Muay Thai crown against Superbon Singha Mawynn, a match that was scheduled for earlier this month.

The former featherweight kickboxing king injured his leg in the lead-up to his world title challenge at ONE Fight Night 15, which resulted in Tawanchai facing Jo Nattawut.
With the Singha Mawynn Muay Thai representative now fit to go, Tye Ruotolo hopes nothing else prevents their firefight from taking place inside the legendary venue in December.
Speaking to The MMA Superfan, the grappling specialist said:
“Well, I can't wait [for Tawanchai versus Superbon]. Before I got signed to ONE, I was never watching too much Muay Thai. Now that I've been signed to ONE, I've been, you know, watching all the fights on all the cards and, you know, becoming a huge fan of it, and this fight, my God, it is going to be so unreal.”

Following his victory over Dagi Arslanaliev in August, Tye Ruotolo and Kade spent a short training stint alongside Superbon and Trainer Gae at the Thai’s new gym in Bangkok.
He has only grown in admiration for the former No.1 pound-for-pound great since but feels Tawanchai could derail his attempt at Muay Thai glory.
The Thai athletes will go toe-to-toe in the main event of ONE Fight Night 17. As for Tye, the young phenom returns at ONE Fight Night 16, available to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription on Friday, November 3.
