Tyson Fury has just downplayed the interest and fanfare surrounding the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois boxing match. The matchup, which is held at Wembley Stadium in London, England, will be contested for the IBF heavyweight title, which is currently held by Dubois, who was previously the interim champion.
While speaking to iFL TV, 'The Gypsy King' was dismissive of the matchup, even claiming to have no concern over the outcome. He is only interested in avenging his loss to Oleksandr Usyk, which is his lone career defeat. By comparison, he claimed he couldn't care less.
"Unless it's involving me, I don't care who wins. I've got my own fight with [Oleksandr] Usyk to deal with at the end of December, and a Christmas time. So that's what I'm thinking about. I'm not thinking about who wins out of these two divies. Don't really matter who wins out of these two. None of my business."

It's only natural that Fury is more focused on his upcoming rematch with Usyk, but a matchup between him and Joshua has been a topic of conversation for years now. If 'AJ' manages to dethrone Dubois as IBF heavyweight champion, and Fury manages to capture the rest of the belts from Usyk, the bout will be elevated.
However, both men, especially Fury, who has already lost to Usyk, will have a challenging time in the ring. If either of them lose, it could dull the luster of the heavyweight clash.
Tyson Fury once lambasted Anthony Joshua
Like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua was once an undefeated phenom. Unfortunately, his image took a serious hit after an upset loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. and back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. Back in 2022, 'The Gypsy King' spoke to iFL TV and trash-talked Joshua in vintage fashion.
"I think he's [Anthony Joshua] a sh*thouse, and I'll say it to his face. Two, he's got no courage to fight me. And three, he's a failure and a letdown to his country."
