Gerald Meerschaert is gearing up to face off against rising middleweight star Joe Pyfer in the preliminary rounds of UFC 287, which is scheduled to take place at the Miami-Dade arena in Miami, Florida on April 8th.

'GM3', boasts an impressive physical stature, standing at 6'1" (185 cm) and possessing a reach of 77.5 inches. In his last fight, Meerschaert submitted Bruno Silva via guillotine choke in the third round at UFC on ESPN 41.

The seasoned fighter made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 102, where he secured a victory by submitting Joe Gigliotti in the first round with an anaconda choke. He currently holds a 10-7 record in the promotion and a 35-15 record in mixed martial arts overall.
