Jon Jones gives an ominous prediction for Israel Adesanya's UFC 287 fight against Alex Pereira
Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya have been at loggerheads over the past several years, with both UFC megastars taking multiple jibes at each other.
Prior to his UFC heavyweight title-winning performance at UFC 285 earlier this month, 'Bones' weighed in on his longtime rival's scheduled fight against Alex Pereira.
Speaking to MMA Junkie, Jon Jones alluded to the fact that 'Poatan' defeated Israel Adesanya twice in kickboxing and once in MMA as well. 'Bones' suggested that Pereira is Adesanya's kryptonite.
Predicting a win for Pereira over 'Izzy' at UFC 287, Jones stated:
"I believe Pereira's going to win again. There's some athletes that just have other athlete's number. He works hard and I'm rooting for him. I believe he's going to do it again."
