Meanwhile, Beneil Dariush holds a professional MMA record of 22 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. Dariush made his MMA debut in November 2009 and UFC debut in January 2014. The American-Assyrian MMA stalwart entered the UFC with an unbeaten 6–0 MMA record.

Beneil Dariush promises to stop Charles Oliveira to earn UFC title shot

Charles Oliveira's most recent fight saw him lose to Islam Makhachev via second-round submission in their showdown for the vacant UFC lightweight title in October 2022. On the other hand, Beneil Dariush's most recent octagon outing featured him defeating Mateusz Gamrot via unanimous decision in October 2022.

In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Beneil Dariush asserted that a fight between him and Charles Oliveira is indeed in the works. 'Benny,' who's on an impressive eight-fight win streak, suggested that he's excited to fight 'Do Bronx.' Moreover, he promised to finish Oliveira and secure a UFC lightweight title shot. Dariush stated:

“I think I’m gonna get the finish in either the first or the second round. That’s how I think in my mind. I’m going to just be who I am, and then when he gets excited, I’ll get excited, and then it’ll turn into a crazy fight like everybody is talking about.”
