News recently broke that the UFC 303 co-main event has been altered on the day of the event. Brian Ortega has dropped out of the fight with Diego Lopes due to illness and his place has been taken by Dan Ige.

Ige and Lopes will now grace the co-main event slot for the UFC 303 in a catchweight bout (165 pounds). The event is being held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lopes is currently riding a three-fight win streak and all of them have been finishes. Ige, on the other hand, is coming off a knockout victory against Andre Fili in February 2024.
