UFC 303: Mayra Bueno Silva vs. Macy Chiasson

Round 1: Bueno Silva applying pressure, trying to back Chiasson up to the fence. She throws a low kick but misses. They fall into the clinch, and Bueno Silva lands a hard knee to the body and an elbow over the top. The Brazilian throws a kick and misses. Chiasson taps her lead leg with a low kick.

Chiasson is on the backfoot again, ceding space too easily, and eats a hard right hand along the fence. The American initiates a clinch, but Silva lands an elbow. Chiasson fights for position and lands an elbow of her own before they break and are back in the open.

Bueno Silva misses a body kick but spins into a heel kick that lands. Chiasson has not imposed herself yet but lands a few low kicks. They trade in the pocket, but Silva seems more powerful and lands a head kick at the end of a combination. They're back in the clinch, with the Brazilian in control.

The American fires back. Bueno Silva attempts a takedown in the clinch, but Chiasson's size and length give her too much leverage for the Brazilian to lift. Chiasson swarms her with combinations. A lot of action in this round as they clinch again, with Chiasson landing hard knees to the body.

Bueno Silva is in on a single and briefly trips her for a takedown, but Chiasson is back to her feet as the round ends along the fence.

Round 2: Chiasson starts with a hard jab, lands a combination, and swarms Bueno Silva before taking her down. Chiasson lands a massive elbow that cuts Bueno Silva open over the eyebrow. Chiasson with another elbow, as Bueno Silva works toward an armbar, but she can't finish it and lets go.

The Brazilian tries a few up kicks. Chiasson stands up, kicks her opponent's legs, and motions for Bueno Silva to stand up. The referee calls for a pause to the fight, signaling for the cage-side doctor to step in. The cut is very deep and graphic. Bueno Silva implores the doctor to let her fight, but the fight is stopped.
