Belal Muhammad takes the UFC welterweight throne
Belal Muhammad silenced the Manchester crowd with a dominant performance at UFC 304.
The 36-year-old put his grappling prowess on display in his fight against Leon Edwards. 'Remember the Name' landed numerous takedowns in the contest and one of them caused 'Rocky' to land on his head.
The fight went the five-round distance and ended in a unanimous decision victory for 'Remember the Name'. The three judges scored the bout 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46 in favor of Muhammad.
Tom Aspinall successfully defends his interim title
Tom Aspinall electrified the crowd present at the Co-op Live with his spectacular performance. The British fighter ran through Curtis Blaydes and scored a TKO victory just 60 seconds into their interim title fight.
With the victory, Aspinall is now on a three-fight win streak in the promotion.

Paddy Pimblett made a huge statement on July 27 as he made quick work of Bobby Green and submitted him in the opening round of the fight.
The grudge match between Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape went down in the prelims of UFC 304. The two were so eager to get their hands on each other that they attempted to fight before the official beginning of the contest.
At one point in their encounter, Mokaev attempted to pull 'Starboy's' pants down.
Overall, the fight was an underwhelming affair that Mokaev won by unanimous decision.
Also, Modestas Bukauskas and Sam Patterson scored victories via an arm-triangle choke in their respective fights.
Mick Parkin and Lukasz Brzeski faced off in a heavyweight showdown in the prelims. The fight was a short-lived affair as Parkin knocked his opponent out in the opening minutes of the fight.
