A flyweight bout between Kai Kara-France and Steve Erceg will serve as the co-main event at UFC 305.
Kara-France (24-11 and one NC) is in desperate need of a win for him to get back into the title picture. He is currently on a two-fight skid with his last fight at UFC on ESPN 46 ending in a split-decision loss to Amir Albazi.
However, 'Don't Blink' is still one of the top talents at 125 pounds, and has wins over the likes of Cody Garbrandt and Raulian Paiva. A win this weekend will solidify his place in the top five of the division and might even pave the way for a title shot.
Erceg (12-2) was last seen in a closely contested loss to champion Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 301, a fight many thought he won. A win at Perth would help 'Astro Boy' break into the top five of the division and get him closer to a second crack at the 125-pound gold.
