UFC light heavyweight veterans Ryan Spann and Ovince Saint Preux will lock horns in an important light heavyweight showdown this Saturday at UFC 307.
Spann will be keen on reversing his recent fortunes, having lost three fights in a row against stiff competition. He lost to Bogdan Guskov via TKO in his last fight in April. He hasn't won a fight in almost two years, collecting his last win against Dominick Reyes via knockout at UFC 281.
Saint Preux enters the fight with the momentum of a split decision win against Kennedy Nzechukwu in March. He wields a 2-3 record in his last five octagon outings, similar to Spann.
With Spann eager to get back on track and Saint Preux looking to continue his dominance over Fortis MMA-affiliated fighters, this matchup proves to be a crucial challenge for the light heavyweights.
