Lightweight contenders Mateusz Rebecki and Myktybek Orolbai are set to lock horns in a featured catchweight bout (160 lbs.) on the preliminary card of UFC 308.
Rebecki, a 'Dana White’s Contender Series' alum, launched his UFC career with three wins but stumbled earlier this year, gassing out in a third-round TKO loss to Diego Ferreira. Now, he’s determined to prove he has what it takes to establish his dominance in the talent-stacked lightweight division.
Orolbai, meanwhile, made his UFC debut in the welterweight division and submitted Uros Medic. He then dropped to lightweight in May, where he secured a unanimous decision over Elves Brener at UFC 301. He is riding on the momentum of an impressive eight-fight win streak with a 13-1-1 record.
Fans can catch the UFC 308 prelims live on Saturday, Oct. 26, starting at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT. The main card will follow exclusively on ESPN+ PPV, kicking off at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT.
