A heavyweight showdown between Alexander Volkov and former interim champion Ciryl Gane graced the main card of UFC 310. The event was held on Dec. 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Volkov entered the bout with a four-fight win streak that included finishes over Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Alexander Romanov and Tai Tuivasa. Gane, on the other hand, had scored a knockout victory against Serghei Spivac prior to UFC 310.
The bout was a rematch as the two heavyweights first locked horns in June 2021 and 'Bon Gamin' emerged victorious via unanimous decision.
