Kevin Holland and Reinier de Ridder went toe-to-toe in a three-round middleweight clash at UFC 311 on Jan. 18. The bout opened up the main card of the event, which is currently taking place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The fight marked de Ridder's second UFC appearance, after his victory against Gerald Meerschaert in November 2024. Holland, on the other hand, was returning to action after a TKO loss to Roman Dolidze at UFC 307.
The fight turned out to be a short-lived affair as de Ridder took his opponent down in the opening seconds of the fight and then proceeded to score a first-round victory with a rear-naked choke.
