Round 1: The round starts with a takedown shot from Barcelos, but Talbott is defending well against the fence. Barcelos is fighting hard for the single-leg, but transitions to a double-leg. Talbott threatens with a guillotine, but Barcelos gets out of it and pins him against the fence.

It's been all Barcelos so far, who is triangling Talbott's body and threatening with a rear-naked choke. It looks like he has it. He flattens Talbott out, but doesn't finish the choke.

Talbott manages to hip escape into half-guard, but Barcelos quickly locks in an arm-triangle, but it's not fully in, Barcelos needs to transition to side control for a finish.

Talbott is out of the arm-triangle, but is still pinned to the fence. This has been a dominant round for Barcelos, who mounts his foe again, landing some ground-and-pound against the fence. A big elbow lands for Barcelos, who takes Talbott's back after his opponent tries to spin out. 10-9 Barcelos

Round 2: The opening round went about as poorly as it could have for Talbott, and he's hoping to undo it by pressuring Barcelos. A nice jab to the body for Talbott, who follows up with a low kick. A counter-right hand from Talbott stings Barcelos on his way in.

But just as it looks like Talbott is gaining some momentum, Barcelos ducks under a right hand and takes him down, turning the corner. Barcelos steps over into side control and a brief scramble ensues with Talbott getting back to his feet. Barcelos immediately shoots for another takedown, but Talbott was wise to it.

A good right hand lands for Talbott, but Barcelos initiates a clinch and hip tosses him to the mat, landing right into side control. Barcelos transitions to full mount, but another scramble ensues and Talbott is back to his feet. The prospect lands some nice shots, including a good intercepting uppercut as Barcelos level changes.

Barcelos is starting to tire out, but he still manages to get another takedown, landing some ground-and-pound to end the round. 10-9 Barcelos

Round 3: The conversation in the Talbott corner was not good. They seem to be out of ideas. Barcelos initiates the clinch, but Talbott uses a nice lateral drop to end up in top position, scoring a takedown. This isn't a good position for Talbott though. He's down two rounds and needs a finish, not control time.

Barcelos threatens with an omoplata, and illegally grabs the fence for leverage, prompting Herb Dean to pause the action and give him a warning. Both fighters get back to their feet and start trading in the center. Talbott with a big flying knee, but Barcelos grabs onto a leg for a takedown.

However, Barcelos couldn't hold him down. They're back on their feet, with Talbott walking Barcelos down with front kicks. Another takedown from Barcelos, who backpacks Talbott. Despite the obvious talent Talbott has, he still has a lot to learn. He's going to lose his undefeated record and head home wiser for it.

Barcelos secures top mount and threatens with an arm-triangle, but it's difficult to finish it from that position. Barcelos is content to just rack up control time, but as Talbott tries to scramble out of position, Barcelos slaps on a partial rear-naked choke.
