Daniel Cormier recently revealed that he has been involved in voiceover work for EA Sports in Las Vegas this week ahead of the release of UFC 5.
Cormier is a former two-division UFC champion who now operates as a commentator and analyst for the promotion.
Many fans expected UFC 5 to be released in 2022, as EA Sports has released a UFC game every two years since 2014. However, there is currently no official release date for the latest version of the game.

Daniel Cormier might be in Sin City to work with EA Sports, but he is also in town for this weekend's highly-anticipated UFC 285 pay-per-view card. Former longtime rival of Cormier, Jon Jones, is set to take on Ciryl Gane in the main event for the vacant heavyweight title.
The pair recently had a fairly wholesome exchange online, as Jones 'gave Cormier permission' to commentate on his fight at UFC 285.
'Bones' tweeted this:
"DC you are more than welcome to commentate at my fight, I think you are really good at what you do. I trust that you would be non-biased. All the best brother."

Daniel Cormier uploaded a video to his YouTube channel in response to Jon Jones and said this:
"Just for the record, I don't really need permission to call someone's fight... But I'll be honest with you, it's kind of nice to hear [Jones] acknowledge that even with our history, he believes I could do him justice and do him fairly."

Daniel Cormier releases an essay in light of Jon Jones' return
Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones shared a bitter rivalry that lasted almost a decade, however, the pair appear to have turned a corner over recent years.
Jones will be returning to the competition after three years away from the UFC. In 2020, 'Bones' decided he would be moving from light heavyweight to heavyweight. Jones took the necessary time to build enough muscle to compete in the heavier weight class, and reportedly weighs 250 pounds.
Former rival 'DC' released an essay about their history, as Jones' reappearance in the octagon edges closer. He said this:
"I'm Daniel Cormier, UFC Hall of Famer, and I hate Jon Jones. Or, I hated Jon Jones. I fought Jones twice, and I don't care what the record says, I lost twice... But the past is the past right? Some things should be forgotten, forgiven. But your boy DC may forgive, but he doesn't forget."
