UFC debutant Bo Nickal has made some bold claims since signing with the promotion in September. The American collegiate wrestling sensation has called out top contender Khamzat Chimaev and also claimed to be confident in a potential clash against former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

In his latest tweet, Nickal made light of the entire UFC middleweight roster. 'The Allen Assassin' proclaimed himself to be the worst nightmare of the 185 lbs division. The UFC debutant wrote on Twitter:

Nickal failed to earn a UFC contract despite a dominant submission win over Zachary Borrego in his first Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) appearance in August, which was only his second pro outing. The 26-year-old followed it up with another first-round submission win over Donovan Beard at DWCS 56 in September to finally secure his contract.

Nickal was scheduled to make his promotional debut against Jamie Pickett at UFC 282 in December. 'The Allen Assassin' even teased retirement if he was not given a place on the main card. The bout eventually fell through, with the former three-time NCAA Division 1 champ pulling out due to an undisclosed injury. UFC 285, which takes place on March 5, is reportedly the new date being targeted for Nickal's debut.

UFC debutant Bo Nickal's callout to Khamzat Chimaev

Bo Nickal refused to buy into the hype surrounding Khamzat Chimaev from the get-go, calling out the Chechen-born Swede immediately after earning the contract. While Nickal acknowledged Chimaev's skillset, the Penn State standout called out 'Borz' for his lack of professionalism after the UFC 279 weight miss.

Nickal subsequently doubled and tripled down on his callout to Chimaev, even accusing the surging Chechen native of ducking him. The former NCAA champ recently accused Chimaev of being a grown-up who wrestling kids in Sweden. The UFC debutant said in an interview with Michael Bisping:

“When I watch his actual wrestling stuff, he’s basically a 25-year-old man wrestling high school kids in Sweden. There’s not really much to be said about that. Let’s go — I’m ready. I’m ready for him right now, he’s a good match up for me. He’s not taking me down, he’s not doing nothing to me. I’m 6’1,” 205 pounds, I’m a full grown 185er’ and yeah, that’s a match up I really, really want."
