Sean Strickland recently took to social media to call Paulo Costa out less than 30 days after his last octagon outing. The 31-year-old bounced back from a two-fight losing skid with a unanimous decision win over Nassourdine Imavov earlier this month.
However, it seems 'Tarzan' is ready to fight again and has 'Borrachinha' in his sights. Strickland posted a video on Instagram calling for Costa, saying:
“Yo, Costa, I think we should fight, bro. It f*cking makes sense, you know. I don’t know if you’ll be drunk or be able to make weight, eating cookies, let’s make this sh*t happen.”

Paulo Costa reacts to Sean Strickland calling him out
Paulo Costa was unfazed by Sean Strickland calling him out. The Brazilian is of the opinion that 'Tarzan' might be suffering from a long-term concussion.
Reacting to Strickland's aforementioned call-out video, Costa took to Twitter to acknowledge that while the 31-year-old is a "nice guy," his sense of humor is outdated. 'Borrachinha' wrote:
"Strickland deep, deep, deep down in his heart is a nice guy, I just think one of his many problems is because he's been shot several times in the head and now he's kind of living on a permanent concussion making jokes so old he couldn't think of something updated lolall good Bro."

Costa went on to praise Sean Strickland's courage:
"But yes, he is brave."
In his last outing, Costa defeated Luke Rockhold via decision, ending his two-fight losing slide. The Brazilian was scheduled to face Robert Whittaker in at UFC 284 in Australia but reportedly pulled out due to contract negotiations with the UFC falling apart.
