It appears that Dana White's Power Slap League cannot escape public scrutiny and negative publicity. The Power Slap League has struggled since its television debut on January 18 following the popular American professional wrestling television program AEW Dynamite.

Tony Khan, the president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), and Adam Cole, a popular wrestler who competes in the organization, recently announced that AEW All Access will begin airing after Dynamite at some point the following month. Adam Cole will also return to the ring on the night it premieres.

The ratings for Dana White's Slap League continue to fall week after week, but the numbers for the preceding program, AEW, have been outstanding. In contrast to the first week of February, when 901,000 people watched the AEW broadcast, only 284,000 people tuned in to watch the Power Slap League.

Considering the decline in ratings and the introduction of AEW's All Access, fans on Twitter could not help but speculate that White's current venture will be removed from television. One fan wrote:

"Best thing about AEW All Access being a thing is that it means Power Slap already got cancelled LMAOOOOO #AEWDynamite."

Another fan questioned whether this was the end of White's most recent endeavor, which has not been well received:

"Doesn't this AEW announcement mean the end of Power Slap? I'm not sure how American broadcasting schedules work lol"

Yet another fan wrote:

"Adam Cole announced a new one-hour show called AEW: All Access, airing directly after Dynamite. My first thought: Goodbye Dana White's Power Slap league."

Other fans embraced the latest announcement with open arms:

"If watching AEW All Access is the price that must be paid to stop the Power Slap commercials, then it is a price I am glad to pay"

Warner Bros. chairman previously claimed that the network is experimenting with Dana White's Power Slap League despite looming concerns

Warner Bros. Discovery Sports (WBD Sports) is a section of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), which is in charge of sports broadcasts that are shown on numerous channels in the United States that are owned by its parent company. These channels include TBS, TNT, AT&T SportsNet, and TruTV.

Any publicity that is unfavorable to any of the shows that are shown on their channels will, of course, have an effect on the entire network, and Dana White's Power Slap League is no exception to this standard.

On a recent panel with Deadline, Kathleen Finch, chairman and chief content officer of Warner Bros. Discovery's US Network Group, admitted there was apprehension regarding the future of Dana White's Power Slap League:

“Of course. Yes. This is an experiment. The goal is, we are making shows for our fans, that’s who we work for. Fans of wrestling have a lot of overlap with the fans of this and it’s huge on social media so the idea really is, if we can take something that’s huge on social, bring it to a linear audience giving the fans what they want."
