UFC featherweight Arnold Allen has weighed in on the title fight between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway, which took place at UFC 308 on Oct. 26. 'Almighty' was in attendance for the UFC Edmonton event which was held on Nov. 2 at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada.

During his time there, the 30-year-old interacted with media backstage and shared his thoughts on the UFC 308 main event. He revealed that Holloway's knockout loss did not surprise him too much as there were signs of it happening sooner or later in his career.

Allen then praised Topuria for fulfilling his bold claim of finishing 'Blessed' in their encounter.

"To be honest, style-wise, I feel like [Topuria] would get the win and I wasn't too surprised he was able to knock [Holloway] out, you know... When [Holloway] was coming out for the exchanges, he was coming out with his head in the air and I didn't like it. And also, you know, he's got the most significant strikes received, that's going to add up, you know, as tough as you are, as much of a warrior as he is. But also, Ilia, credit to him. Accurate, hits hard. He said he was going to do it and he did it."

Allen has shared the UFC octagon with Holloway in the past. The two featherweights locked horns in a five-round encounter in April 2023.

The fight was a competitive affair that went the 25-minute distance. In the end, 'Blessed' got his hand raised via unanimous decision. The three judges scored the bout 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47 in favor of the former UFC champion.

Allen was last seen in action in July 2024 when he faced off against Giga Chikadze at UFC 304. 'Almighty' scored a comfortable unanimous decision victory that night.
