Nathaniel Wood used Twitter to tease Lerone Murphy by using his dog to demonstrate a takedown.
Murphy extended his unbeaten MMA record to 12-0-1 with a split decision win over Gabriel Santos on the UFC 286 preliminary card. ‘The Miracle’ was supposed to fight Wood, but the latter pulled out after a freak injury during training.
Despite the matchup being canceled, Murphy and Wood have become heated rivals on social media. During the fight against Santos, ‘The Miracle’ was picked up and carried across the octagon for a powerful takedown attempt. ‘The Prospect’ decided to tease his rival on Twitter by reenacting the moment with his dog. He had this to say during the video:
“Okay guys, so today I’m gonna go through the takedown that Gabriel Santos done to Lerone Murphy last night. Obviously, he’s got a problem with my dog, so I’m gonna use Iva today as the dummy. So, what Gabriel Santos done here is he came in up against the cage and he got the gable grip here quite low, picked Lerone up like this, like he was taking him to bed, carried him across the cage, and slammed him.”
