UFC Fight Tonight: Is there a UFC card on Saturday, February 25, 2023?

The world's premier MMA promotion is heading back to its Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a second consecutive week to put on UFC Fight Night: Krylov vs. Spann (also known as UFC Vegas 70). The action will go down this Saturday, February 25, with a series of intriguing matchups to look forward to.

The main event of UFC Vegas 70 will pit No.6-ranked light heavyweight contender Nikita Krylov against No.8-ranked Ryan Spann.

Krylov picked up a unanimous decision win over Volkan Oezdemir last October after his first-round knockout of Alexander Gustafsson in July 2022 to bounce back from two consecutive losses.

Spann, meanwhile, has looked more impressive of late, with back-to-back finishes to his name. The Texan most recently dispatched former title challenger Dominick Reyes with a vicious first-round KO in November 2022, which followed his early submission win over Ion Cutelaba in May. 'Superman' will be determined to continue his strong momentum as he takes on another higher-ranked opponent this Saturday.

This is a pivotal matchup and a statement performance from either man could elevate the winner towards the summit of the 205-pound division.

Who else is fighting on the UFC Fight Night: Krylov vs. Spann card?

Andre Muniz, who is unbeaten in his five-fight promotional career, will return to the octagon this Saturday seeking his 10th straight professional win. The Brazilian has finished three of his last four opponents and is fresh off a unanimous decision win over Uriah Hall last July.

Muniz will co-headline this Saturday's Fight Night event against submission specialist Brendan Allen. The American is riding a three-fight win streak into this bout, with two of his victories coming via submission. In his latest outing in October, Allen dispatched Krzysztof Jotko via first-round rear-naked choke.

The main card of the UFC Fight Night will also play host to an exciting women's flyweight clash between Montana De La Rosa and a returning Tatiana Suarez.

Also on the main card, Augusto Sakai will lock horns with Don'Tale Mayes in a battle of heavyweights. The potential main card opener of the night will see Mike Malott face Yohan Lainesse in a welterweight showdown.
