The pair first crossed paths at UFC Vegas 21 back in March 2021. However, the fight was ruled a no-contest following an accidental eye poke by Edwards.
Since their first battle three years ago, 'Rocky' has racked up four consecutive wins, capturing the 170-pound gold along the way. Muhammed, meanwhile, has gone 5-0 since their first meeting and is coming off a dominant unanimous decision victory over Gilbert Burns at UFC 288 in May 2023.
The duo will look to finally settle the score with the welterweight title on the line at UFC 304 this weekend.

The Englishman bounced back from the injury with a first-round TKO win over Marcin Tybura a year later and went on to capture the interim heavyweight title with a first-round knockout of Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 in November.
Blaydes, meanwhile, suffered a TKO loss to Sergei Pavlovich in April 2023 following his first meeting with Aspinall. However, 'Razor' set himself up for a title shot with a second-round KO of Jailton Almeida at UFC 299 in March.
The main card of UFC 304 will also feature a thrilling lightweight showdown between King Green and Paddy Pimblett.
In another intriguing matchup, Christian Leroy Duncan will square off against Gregory Rodrigues in a middleweight contest.
To kick off the UFC 304 main card, Arnold Allen will go toe-to-toe with Giga Chikadze in a battle of featherweights.
