UFC Fight Tonight: Is there a UFC card on Saturday, May 18, 2024?

The UFC is headed back to the APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 18, 2024, for UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Murphy (also known as UFC Vegas 92 and UFC Fight Night 241).

Headlining the UFC Fight Night card will be a battle between featherweight contenders as the No.12-ranked Edson Barboza takes on Lerone Murphy, who is positioned two spots below the Brazilian at No.14.

Edson Barboza dismantled Billy Quarantillo with a vicious knockout in April 2023 before outclassing Sodiq Yusuff en-route to win a unanimous decision six months later in October. The Brazilian is 2-2 in his last four outings and will aim for a third consecutive victory against an unbeaten opponent.

Lerone Murphy, meanwhile, fought Zubaira Tukhugov to a split draw in his UFC debut at UFC 242 and rattled off five straight wins thereafter. The Brit will look to prove himself as a formidable contender in the division with a statement win over a battle-tested Barboza.

UFC Fight Tonight: Who else is fighting on the UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Murphy card?

Khaos Williams will also feature on the card as he takes on Carlston Harris in a welterweight matchup in the co-main event.

Williams ended up on the right side of a split decision against Rolando Bedoya at UFC 288 to bounce back from his decision loss to Randy Brown in 2022. The Michigan native will hope to build another win streak starting Saturday.

Carlston Harris, on the other hand, is seeking his third straight victory inside the octagon. The Guyana fighter is fresh off a third-round technical submission win over Jeremiah Wells in August.

The card will also feature a bantamweight clash between Adrian Yanez and Vinicius Salvador, followed by a welterweight battle between Themba Gorimbo and Ramiz Brahimaj.

To kick off the UFC Fight Night main card, Luana Pinheiro will square off against Angela Hill in a women's strawweight showdown.
