UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad has not shied away from extending his support to his homeland, Palestine, in the ongoing armed conflict with Israel. Born and raised in the USA to Palestinian parents, Muhammad has stayed connected with his roots and always raised his voice for the homeland on various occasions.
Israel and Palestine have been engulfed in an armed conflict. Things have gone from bad to worse since, and thousands of civilians and military personnel have lost their lives so far.
Amid the disturbing turn of events, a post on IMEU’s ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) handle claimed that the hospitals in Gaza (a part of Palestine) will run out of fuel within the next 48 hours. They claimed that the healthcare system there has been completely collapsed due to the relentless attacks from the Israeli armed forces.
Belal gave a three-word reply to the post and wrote:

When Sean Strickland accused Belal Muhammad of instigating war
UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland is one of the most outspoken and unapologetically brash men in the history of the UFC. Strickland does not hold himself back from speaking his mind.
He launched a scathing attack on Muhammad’s stance on the Israel-Palestine issue during his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience a few months ago. Strickland said:
“Me and Belal Muhammad, I think I said some sh** about Palestine that they should bend the knee. Palestine would be way better if they threw out Hamas, and they went to Israel and said, ‘Hey, let’s make this sh** better.”
He added:
“But you have someone like Belal Muhammad who barely ever goes to Palestine [and says) ‘F*** you, Israel’, propagating war; instead of bringing an olive branch and saying, ‘yeah, this sucks, how do we make this suck less?’”
Strickland further stated:
“You’re a coward, bro. You’re in America and you say divisive sh** on the couch with your Twitter thumbs.”

Sean Strickland has criticized the 35-year-old about the same issue on other occasions as well and Muhammad has hit back at him. However, the beef is unlikely to culminate into a fight as they compete in different divisions. Belal Muhammad has been campaigning hard for a welterweight title shot. If he captures the championship belt, it might be a different story.
