According to a recent report, USADA has tested Jiri Prochazka an unbelievable 51 times since the beginning of 2022, over three times more than any other active fighter on the UFC roster.
The United States Anti-Doping Agency does its best to keep fighters clean and rid the UFC of PED use (performance-enhancing drugs). Despite getting mixed reactions from both fans and athletes over their testing methods, USADA remains a mainstay in the sport.
As confirmed on social media by Aaron Bronsteter, Jiri Prochazka handed in 51 samples throughout the year, with 24 of them coming in a single month. Bronsteter's tweet read:
"Based on data from USADA's athlete test history, Jiri Prochazka has submitted 24 samples for drug testing in the past month (and 27 total in Q3 of 2022). This is a massive anomaly, as the next most [tested in a single month] is 7 samples submitted."

Following Prochazka's incredible 51 tests, Kamaru Usman and Manel Kape are tied for second place with 15 tests each in 2022. Jorge Masvidal, Paulo Costa, Rose Namajunas, Henry Cejudo, and more competitors round out the list of most tested UFC athletes.
Prochazka captured 205lbs gold in June after submitting then-champion Glover Teixeira in the fifth and final round of their championship matchup. The five-round battle is, quite rightly, being considered for fight-of-the-year.
His title win was the only fight the Czech has competed in this year, which makes the number of tests by USADA seem unwarranted. The dynamic striker is preparing to step into the octagon once more later this year, which will likely mean he will be tested even more as the event edges closer.
When is Jiri Prochazka fighting next?
On December 10, Jiri Prochazka is set to make the first defense of his light heavyweight strap as he welcomes Glover Teixeira back into the cage for their rematch.
The 30-year-old will be looking to once again get the better of his Brazilian opponent in the UFC 282 headliner.
Alongside the title fight in December, Paddy Pimblett will also be fighting on the card. The Liverpudlian will likely be met with his toughest test to date in Jared Gordon. Jan Blachowicz will take on Magomed Ankalaev in a title eliminator bout, and Darren Till returns to brawl Dricus Du Plessis at middleweight.
