UFC middleweight Chris Curtis reacted to Mike Perry's bizarre threat toward his upcoming boxing opponent, Jake Paul.
Later this week, Paul looks to secure his fourth consecutive win since being defeated by Tommy Fury in February 2023. The YouTuber-turned-boxer's latest challenge is against Perry, a former UFC fighter who has become a massive superstar in the bare-knuckle boxing community.
Paul and Perry recently did a face-to-face interview to promote their eight-round boxing match on July 20. During their intense conversation, 'Platinum' threatened his 27-year-old opponent by saying:
"I am going to dig through your eyeball and find your memories."

Perry's comments went viral as they represented his unpredictable personality. Once MMA Junkie shared the quote on Instagram, UFC middleweight Chris Curtis took to the comment section and reacted with the following message:
"I really wonder if he is trying to be threatening of if that's just how Miike Perry thinks memories work? Either war WAR MIKE PERRY."
Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry will take place inside the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The co-main event for Saturday's fight card is a 126-pound contest between Amanda Serrano and Stevie Morgan. Meanwhile, the following fighters are also featured - Ashton 'H2O' Sylve, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, and more.
What's at stake between Jake Paul and Mike Perry?
Jake Paul's boxing career suffered a significant setback when he lost against Tommy Fury. Since then, the 27-year-old has bounced back by securing wins against Andre August (first-round knockout), Ryan Bourland (first-round knockout) and Nate Diaz (unanimous decision).
Paul was initially supposed to fight Mike Tyson on Saturday before the latter pulled out with an injury. They rescheduled the controversial matchup for November, so another loss would have negative promotional effects for 'The Problem Child.'
As for Perry, he wants to continue building his platform after finding success outside of the UFC. With a win against Paul, 'Platinum' would add another impressive name to his resume featuring Michael 'Venom' Page, Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez, and Thiago Alves.
