The UFC is officially heading back to Newark, New Jersey with their UFC 288 pay-per-view.
The event will go down on May 6th, 2023 at the Prudential Center with the tickets set to go on sale next week at 10 am ET on Wednesday, March 15. It is worth noting that the bout is yet to be made official by the UFC. However, both fighters have individually confirmed that they will most certainly square off in May.

Aljamain Sterling reveals Henry Cejudo is yet to sign the contract for UFC 288 bout
Aljamain Sterling is slated to defend his bantamweight title against Henry Cejudo at the UFC 288 pay-per-view. As mentioned earlier, both fighters have individually confirmed their fight, however, 'Triple C' is yet to sign a contract for the fight.
The same has left Aljamain Sterling frustrated and the bantamweight champion has called out for Sean O'Malley to stay ready to step in. In a recent tweet replying to O'Malley, 'Aljo' suggested that Cejudo "isn't making up his mind" and urged 'Suga' to be ready, he said:
"Facts! The turd isn’t making up his mind. Be ready my guy. This is the fight the fans really wanted to see anyway."
Take a look at his tweet below:
The number one contender in the bantamweight division, Sean O'Malley was slated to take on Aljamain Sterling first. However, his shot at the title was put on hold due to the return of Henry Cejudo.
It is worth noting that Henry Cejudo has been out of the octagon since May 2020. With him yet to sign a contract, a fight between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O'Malley could very well go down on May 6th.
