UFC Vegas 91 just wrapped up. The event took place at the UFC Apex Facility in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 27. It featured several exciting matchups and produced explosive finishes, dominant decision victories, and intense battles. So let's recap the event and take a look at the full results.
In the main event, No.5-ranked flyweight contender Matheus Nicolau and No.8-ranked Alex Perez fought in a five-round contest to further their quest for the title shot. Nicolau was originally expected to fight No.6-ranked Manel Kape. However, Kape had to pull out of the fight due to an injury and was replaced by Perez.
Perez, who attacked Nicolau's body through most of Round 1, conditioned him to expect body shots.
Around the midway point of Round 2, Perez had Nicolau trapped against the cage and knocked him out with an overhand right. The knockout was reminiscent of Ilia Topuria's win over Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298.

The win snapped Perez's three-fight skid and will most likely improve his standing in the rankings.
The co-main event saw Uzbekistan's Bogdan Guskov score his second straight UFC victory as he defeated No.11-ranked Ryan Spann via Round 2 TKO. After securing an early takedown over Guskov and threatening with submission attempts and ground-and-pound, Spann appeared to have won Round 1.
However, the Uzbek fighter denied takedowns in Round 2 and knocked Spann down with an uppercut after tagging him a few times. 'Superman' failed to defend himself adequately and the referee stepped in to wave off the fight.
Furthermore, No.12-ranked women's flyweight contender Ariane da Silva took on No.13-ranked Karine Silva on the main card in an attempt to extend her winning streak to four.
However, Silva spoiled the 30-year-old's plan and dominated the fight with an effective ground game en route to a unanimous decision victory.
Brazilian heavyweight Jhonata Diniz made his UFC debut against the towering Austen Lane. Diniz struggled to deal with Lane's grappling and spent the majority of Round 1 on his back.
However, the tables turned in Round 2 as Lane, who was visibly tired from grappling, failed to impose his ground game. Diniz knocked Lane out with a short uppercut to make a statement in his first fight with the UFC.
UFC Vegas 91 results: David Onama, Uros Medic and Victor Henry win big
Uganda's David Onama pulled off a hard-fought win over Jonathan Pierce on the main card. A striker by trade, Onama was taken down several times in the fight.
However, he displayed a respectable ground game in reversing the positions and getting back up to his feet to take the fight where he was most comfortable. The 29-year-old went the extra mile to get a unanimous decision victory.
Uros Medic and veteran fighter Tim Means opened the main card with a welterweight contest. With a combined 34 finishes between them, many expected the fight to end by a knockout or submission. Medic knocked Means down with a left uppercut and finished the fight with a follow-up strike in Round 1.
Following the win, Medic said he has to work his way up to the high-profile fighters going forward but expressed the desire to fight the likes of Ian Machado Garry.
In the headlining bout on the prelims, Victor Henry defeated veteran fighter Rani Yahya via Round 3 TKO. Yahya kept Henry committed to defense in Round 1 with aggressive takedown attempts.
However, Henry took control of the fight in Round 2 and came dangerously close to finishing the veteran fighter in the closing seconds. Yahya, who could not recover from the damage in between the rounds, succumbed to a head kick in Round 3.
Elsewhere, Ivana Petrovic and Chris Padilla defeated Liang Na and James Llontop, respectively, via impressive submission wins.
