UFC Vegas 91: Matheus Nicolau and Alex Perez looking to find form
UFC Vegas 91 headliners Matheus Nicolau and Alex Perez will both look to bounce back from their respective losses in their last outings.
Nicolau had won six straight fights before losing against Brandon Royval last year. He dubbed the upcoming fight as the 'most important day of his life'. In an Instagram post, Nicolau vowed to put in his best performance ever inside the UFC octagon and return with a victory.
The Brazilian wrote:
"10 days for my next challenge As always, the thought is the same: 10 days until the most important day of my life. We leave today for Las Vegas Total focus to put my best performance ever seen inside the octagon and bring this win! Thank you to everyone who's helped me get here since day 1. Let's go together for more of this challenge!"

Perez has lost three straight fights and has not won inside the octagon since 2020. He remains in the top 10 of the flyweight division but will have to do more at UFC Vegas 91 to justify his inclusion in the rankings.
