'Carcara' displayed her grappling prowess in the second round and submitted Lemos with an armbar. The victory extended her win streak to four.

Steve Garcia walked into the UFC Vegas 94 co-main event with a three-fight win streak. One impressive thing to note is that all three of those victories were knockouts.
Choi, on the other hand, entered the fight with a unanimous decision victory against Jarno Errens.
The fight was a short-lived affair as Garcia knocked out his opponent less than two minutes into the fight.

In the prelims of the event, Cody Gibson defeated Brian Kelleher via an arm-triangle choke in the opening round.
