The Gilbert Burns vs. Sean Brady payouts for UFC Vegas 97 haven't been officially disclosed. However, estimates based on their past earnings are possible. Both men are high-profile welterweights, with 'Durinho' having previously competed for divisional gold back in 2021.

Meanwhile, Brady was an undefeated prospect whose physicality and high-level grappling are top-tier. The two clash in the UFC Vegas 97 main event, where Burns will look to rebound from a two-fight losing streak consisting of a unanimous decision loss to Belal Muhammad and a knockout to Jack Della Maddalena.

As NY Fights reports, Burns earned $200,000 in his aforementioned loss to Muhammad, and usually earns between $150,000 and $250,000, which is corroborated by an MMA Salaries report. Thus, this could be a glimpse into Burns' earnings for UFC Vegas 97.

Meanwhile, Brady is reported by NY Fights, to have earned an estimated $80,000 for his submission win over Kelvin Gastelum, and $50,000, according to The Sports Rush, for his loss to Muhammad at UFC 280. As such, he is expected to pocket similar figures come next weekend.

Regarding Jéssica Andrade, a former strawweight champion, it's reported by Bet MGM that she pocketed $179,000 for her UFC 300 win over Marina Rodriguez. Given the platform that UFC 300 gave her, it's unlikely that next weekend will match that figure, so her purse should be between $100,000 and $150,000.

Meanwhile, her opponent Natália Silva, reportedly earned $80,000 for a UFC 292 win over Andrea Lee according to MMAFighting, who gained access to public records from the Massachusetts Office of Public Safety and Inspections. Based on her past earnings, something between $50,000 and $80,000 is likely.

UFC Vegas 97 serves as the precursor to a historic UFC event

UFC Vegas 97 is meant to set the stage for what is to come on Sep. 14, which is Riyadh Season Noche UFC, otherwise known as UFC 306. It will be the promotion's first event at the Las Vegas Sphere, and will be headlined by Sean O'Malley defending his bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili.

Moreover, the event takes place two days before Mexican Independence Day, for which UFC 306 serves as a celebration.
