The main event of UFC Vegas 98 featured an exciting flyweight clash between Tatsuro Taira and former title challenger Brandon Royval. The event took place on Oct. 12 at the UFC APEX Facility in Enterprise, Nevada.

Taira walked into the fight undefeated with an impressive professional record of 16-0. Royval, on the other hand, entered the octagon after scoring a split decision victory against former champion Brandon Moreno in February.
