In a recent tweet, former UFC fighter Jake Shields seemingly imparted some words of wisdom to NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Brady's ex-wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen was reportedly spotted with her jiu-jitsu coach vacationing in Costa Rica.

In the tweet, Shields joked that people should not leave their partners alone with their jiu-jitsu coaches or Pete Davidson. Davidson is notorious for having a history of dating several high-profile celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande.

Shields wrote:

"Never leave your girl alone with her Jiu Jitsu instructor or Pete Davidson"

In a subsequent comment to the same post, the MMA fighter elaborated that it is never a good idea to bring one's partner to training unless he is the toughest person at the gym:

"As someone who’s done Jiu-Jitsu for over 20 years, I can tell you it rarely ends well when guys bring their girls to training. If you’re the toughest guy at the gym it’s probably fine but otherwise don’t do it"

Earlier in October, People.com confirmed that the NFL quarterback and Gisele Bundchen were getting divorced after 13 years of marriage. As per stylecaster.com, Brady's decision to unretire from football was the final straw in the already strained relationship.

When former UFC fighter Jake Shields offered to come out of retirement to beat up Dillon Danis

Jake Shields has not stepped into the cage since his 2018 PFL:10 first-round knockout loss to Ray Cooper III. However, the fighter seemed more than ready to come out of retirement to put Dillon Danis in his place.

In a series of texts in 2021, Danis claimed that he would make light work of Shields in any combat sport.

Responding to the callout, Shields uploaded a fiery post on Instagram assuring the jiu-jitsu athlete that he can still come out of retirement and "beat his a**":

"I was retired but I can always come out of it to beat your a**. Why don’t you tell Scott Coker in the Morning you want me next? You are gonna wake up With the coke worn off and realize you’re really just a scared little bitch"

Jake Shields is a former Strikeforce middleweight champion and a UFC welterweight title challenger.

He holds wins against UFC elites such as former welterweight champions Tyron Woodley and Robbie Lawler, and Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson, among others.
