Shields posted a video on X, where a group of boys and men are seen hurling abuses and instigating fights against Palestinians in the city of Jerusalem. Here's what the 45-year-old captioned the post:

"Israel settlers are roaming the streets of Jerusalem attacking Muslims. Jerusalem is supposed to be an international city and doesn't have Hamas. Look at these demons faces and tell me America is on the right side of this war."

Israel is being accused of ethnic-cleansing in the Gaza region and has reportedly defended its actions as retaliation against the activities of Hamas. The former UFC title contender has called bluff on Israel's defense and blamed it for scapegoating Hamas for its destructive tendencies.

Earlier, the 45-year-old had shared multiple videos and photos as evidence of Israel's genocidal aspirations. He has used his social media notoriety to spread his ideological and political assertions.

The former Strikeforce middleweight champion has been a target of vitriol and ridicule ever since he took a strong stance in the perennial middle-eastern conflict. Belal Muhammad, born to Palestinian immigrants, who fights for the welterweight title next month, has been an outspoken critic of the 'Nate Diaz crew member' for his previous islamaphobic and anti-immigration remarks. But, even he took a liking to Shields' criticism of Israel's actions.

Former UFC star Jake Shields is known for being a plain-spoken nationalist

Jake Shields is no stranger to criticism or controversies, most of which are targeted toward his nationalistic and far-right views. He has been a vociferous supporter of everything pro-American. These sentiments are often reflected in his social media rants and comments.

The 'skrap pack' member has launched a series of posts denouncing Israel's campaign in the Middle east, which has earned him both praise and disapproval from peers and fans. Ever since the unfortunate attack on Israel and the ensuing bombing on Gaza, Shields has remained steadfast against the destruction while hoping for peace. Earlier this year, the American wrote:

"I was once a strong supporter of Israel and believed they were our ally. Now I’ve concluded they are not our ally but our enemy. I know 100’s of people just like me. Do you know anyone who has switched from anti-Israel to pro-Israel? Does this only go in one direction?"
