At the Republican National Convention, staunch Donald Trump supporter Hulk Hogan delivered an adrenaline-filled speech advocating for the 78-year-old's win at the upcoming US presidential polls.

However, Hogan's performance has left UFC veteran Jake Shields in splits.

In a bizarre crossover, the pro wrestling legend was one of the highlights of the Republic National Convention that took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday.

At one point during the event, the former WWE superstar took the stage to deliver a high-octane monologue, reminiscent of his wrestling days, urging the American people to re-elect the former POTUS.

To solidify his show of support, Hogan tore his shirt off to show off a vest with Trump's name on it, while shouting out:

"Let Trumpmainia run wild brother. Let Trump mania rule again. Let Trumpmaina make America great again."

The ex-president was all smiles taking in the acclaimed athlete's performance, clapping and cheering on Hogan.

However, while Trump might have enjoyed the former pro-wrestler's over-the-top show of allegiance, Shields doesn't seem to have fancied it all that much. In a post on X, the 45-year-old wrote:

"Looks like the RNC [Republican National Convention] made up for a bad week."

Jake Shields urges Donald Trump to take notes from fellow bureaucrat

Donald Trump accusing El Salvador President Nayib Bukele of using deceitful tactics to lower the crime rate in the Central American nation has prompted a reaction from Jake Shields.

El Salvador has seen a steep decline in crime in recent years. According to a report by Reuters, the murder rate in the country plummeted by a surprising 70 percent in murders in 2023.

During his speech at the RNC, the former head of state made a bold claim that Bukele was sending El Salvadorian criminals to the US. Shields, however, didn't take too kindly to Trump assigning blame.

In a post on X, he clapped back at the politician, urging him to take notes from his fellow bureaucrat's commendable strides, rather than attacking him:

"In 2015, El Salvador had 103, murders per 100,000 people. In 2023 they had 2.4 murderes per 100,000 people. That is a drop of 5,000 percent. Bukele is a great leader, and Trump should learn from him, Instead of attacking him."
