UFC veteran shares four-word reaction to Sean Strickland’s fiery critique of billionaires and Vivek Ramaswamy’s corporate stance on social media

Former UFC title challenger, Jake Shields reacted to a post of Sean Strickland engaging Vivek Ramaswamy on X. Ramaswamy who is now a part of the new US... government under Donald Trump, is vocal about the restoration of American culture to its previous glory.

In a post on X, Ramaswamy had posted his take on why top tech companies hire foreign born engineers over native Americans. Ramaswamy believes the hiring isn't due to Americans being lazy, it is down to the culture of the country. Responding to this post, Strickland said:

"Billionaires are the problem.. You put profits over people and patriotism. I'm not religious but if there ever was a devil he works through big business Imported labor, devalued wages, hoard money. Absolutely ruined the family unit for profit. Massive wage gaps. Parents work 20 hours a day and then say "go put your kids in science camp" You're so out of touch with the reality and struggles of what a family goes through.... The level of manipulation and brain washing that billionaires have infected this country with.... You're the problem..."

Jake Shields responded to Strickland's post saying:

Sean Strickland did not want to fight in Australia due to 40% tax rates

Sean Strickland revealed the tax system in Australia ahead of his rematch against Dricus du Plessis. 'Tarzan' would be hoping to recapture the title after a split decision loss to the South African last time out. The fight will take place in Sydney, Australia in February.

Ahead of the fight, a fan asked Strickland about the taxes down under. The fan asked:

"Curious how do the taxes work for you fighting in Australia?"

Strickland replied:

"I get absolutely f**ked.. no one wants to go to that f**king place.. I think it's like 40.... Everyone on this card is being forced to go there lol it's not by choice"
