International politics are once again beginning to heat up and varying opinions have made an influence on the MMA world. As usual, former UFC title challenger Jake Shields is one of the catalysts of that movement.
Shields took to X to express his grievances with Canadian professor Gad Saad. Shields called Saad a "self-proclaimed Mossad agent," claiming his "entire purpose" is to "murder."
Shields tweeted:
"Gad Saad has been on Joe Rogan 10 times and regularly interacts with Elon Musk. He's a proud self-admitted Mossad agent. The entire purpose of Mossad is to infiltrate, lie, deceive, destroy and murder. Be aware who is controlling your information."

The 45-year-old posted his thoughts with a clip of an interview Saad conducted in which he praised a journalist for catching the fact that he referred to himself as a Mossad agent in his book. Saad has published several books, the most recent one titled 'The Saad Truth About Happiness: 8 Secrets for Leading the Good Life' released in 2023.
The Mossad is defined as the national intelligence agency of Israel, making it a topic of controversy in light of the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. While Saad resides in Canada and describes himself as a "New Atheist," he is of Jewish-Lebanese descent.
Gad Saad on The Joe Rogan Experience
As Jake Shields mentioned in his X rant, Gad Saad is a frequent guest of The Joe Rogan Experience as a friend of host Joe Rogan. Saad made his 10th and most recent appearance on the show earlier in May 2024.
While his earlier episodes centered around his subject of expertise as a professor of marketing, the recent conversations tended to wander elsewhere and often into politics.
