Joe Rogan reveals crazy experience he had with a former welterweight champ
Joe Rogan has always been a big supporter of UFC welterweight fighter Leon Edwards, even before he became a champion in 2022.
In a previous episode of his podcast, Rogan revealed how he and 'Rocky' went to an "after-hours party" and Edwards was asked by the bodyguard to leave when it was late. That resulted in a confrontation and could have led to a brawl between the bodyguard and the former welterweight champ.
On his show, Rogan narrated the incident:
“An after-hours party that Dave had set up… It was at the end of the night and this guy decided that he was gonna kick everybody out, and for some reason, he singled out Leon Edwards and he got in his face and he said like, 'Hey man, I told f**king you, it’s time to leave.'"
The UFC commentator added:
"And then I got in-between them and said, 'I know you’ve probably made some f**ked up mistakes in your life, you’re about to make the biggest one.' I pulled him aside... 'That’s one of the baddest motherf**kers on the planet, you’re about to make one of the biggest mistakes of your life.'”
