A UFC welterweight competitor recently recounted what his first interaction was like with Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson. He noted that it was a hilarious encounter, which also shed light on the MMA legend's kindness.

The former light heavyweight champion was a fan favorite during his career, especially with his entertaining fighting style, charisma and highlight-reel knockouts. With that in mind, it's no surprise that current fighters grew up being fans of him, including Bryan Battle. The UFC welterweight is currently making a name for himself after winning 'The Ultimate Fighter' in 2021 to earn his contract with the MMA leader.

During his latest appearance on 'Rampage's JAXXON PODCAST, 'The Butcher' recalled his sister with the former UFC champion and said that he was a fan of the former 'TUF' winner after her son told him that he fought for the promotion.

Battle mentioned that it was an incredible feeling to find out and when he approached Jackson, he found out the MMA legend was just being kind so his nephew would be impressed:

"I'm like, 'What the f*ck? 'Rampage' Jackson is a fan of me?'...You're just chilling with your family at this point. You're just f*cking trying to relax and have some family time. I'm thinking you're gonna see me and be like, 'Bryan Battle! I love you!' I'm tapping on your shoulder, I'm like, 'Mr. Rampage'. He turned around, he's like, 'What's up?' And he gave me a fist bump and then turned right back around. I was like, 'He had no idea who the f*ck I am'."

Bryan Battle discloses to Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson why UFC stopped allowing fighters to bring a cameraman

In addition to recounting their first interaction with each other, Bryan Battle disclosed to Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson why the UFC has stopped allowing fighters to bring a cameraman with them.

With fighters having their own YouTube channels and streaming on other platforms, it's understandable why they would want to document their fight week. However, Battle mentioned during his aforementioned appearance that some fighters were being caught with infidelity:

"[UFC Paris] was like, the first event for me where they were really cracking down on where you could have your own camera people cause dudes were getting upset cause they were lowkey getting exposed with their side piece...They would be in the background with their side piece on someone else's video, so they're like, 'Yeah, y'all can't'."
