UFC welterweight shares one-word reaction to clip higlighting Arman Tsarukyan's insane flexibility 

Arman Tsarukyan has shared a training clip on his Instagram stories a few weeks ahead of UFC 311, displaying his flexibility. The footage garnered a lot of attention from his fans and a UFC welterweight has now reacted to the same.

XcellentMMA on Instagram reshared Tsarukyan’s training footage. In the short video, the Armenian demonstrated to his supporters how easily he can bend and twist, which may help him in his upcoming title fight with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

Welterweight combatant Philip Rowe (10-5-0), who was amused by 'Ahalkalakets' flexibility, commented on the same video and stated:

"impressive 🙌🏽."

Like every other fight on Khabib Nurmagomedov's team, Makhachev, who will defend his lightweight strap against Tsarukyan in a rematch at UFC 311, has an excellent ground game.

'Ahalkalakets' can, however, avoid the current lightweight king's chokes and submission attempts if he has this kind of flexibility inside the octagon on fight night.

Islam Makhachev does not consider Arman Tsarukyan his toughest opponent

Arman Tsarukyan made his UFC debut against Islam Makhachev in 2019. There were a lot of grappling and intense wrestling exchanges during the three-round fight, which the Dagestani phenom won via unanimous decision in the end.

After the aforementioned bout, several fight fans believed that Tsarukyan was Makhachev's toughest opponent to date. However, the Dagestani lightweight doesn’t agree with the rest of the world.

In a recent interview with Daniel Cormier, he stated:

“It was one of the hardest fights, of course, but it’s not the toughest fight because the five rounds with Volkanovski, it was crazy. It was heart rate more than 200, you know? But maybe I was underestimating him because he was short notice, nobody knows him, and he don’t have a name."

Makhachev added:

"I never watched his fight and he did well in that fight but I like to finish the old questions. When I have the fight with Volkanovski, I told everybody I have to finish the questions and finish. That’s why the second fight I will be looking for the finish and make everybody shut up.”
